HULL FC NEWS--HULL LOSE AGAIN

Despite leading 14-2 Hull let victory slip from their grasp as Halifax fought back to earn a 16-14 victory at the Boulevard.

Halifax certainly looked dead and buried as tries from Tony Grimaldi and Collins along with three goals from Ian Herron put the Boulevard club in the driving seat.

However, back came Gary Mercer's men who at the time only had a first half penalty from Jamie Bloem to show for their efforts.

Time was against them, but Damien Gibson, Andrew Dunnemann and Paul Rowley all crossed the whitewash in quick succession and one further two pointer from Bloem secured a maximum return.

Many had predicted a dull end-of-season encounter at the Boulevard, but that certainly did not prove to be the case and both sides showed there is at least pride to play for.
